Hotel Rádio became very famous not only in Araxá, but also in the whole State of
Minas Gerais. The reason: having Santos Dumont as its guest. The ruins of the building were kept to preserve the history of one of the most
famous establishments of the city. Now it is surrounded by a beautiful park, with cycling tracks, orchard, belvedere and other entertainment
areas.
If visitors cover an 1800m long track full of vegetation, they can watch animals
and birds until arriving to Mata da Cascatinha. According to the older residents, it was the place where Dona Beja used to bath. |
