Pantaneta at Aquidauana |
Following the example of the carnivals celebrated out of the official date so
common in the North region of Brazil, where this kind of celebration were first organized, the Center-West also has “micaretas” organized in
dates different from the conventional.
The party known as “Pantaneta” is organized since 1997 in Aquidauana, the biggest
“micareta” of the region, always organized during September.
Created to attract tourists to Pantanal, “Pantaneta” has the objective of showing
less rivers, fishes and wild animals, while giving to tourists more party and liveliness. The event delighted so much that, yearly, the region
attracts many excursions and visitors of several places from Brazil, giving to Aquidauana a standing position in the circuit of festivities in
national territory.
The party uses to gather a big number of famous musicians and regional bands, which
open the event. “Pantaneta” also counts with excellent infrastructure, with restrooms, bars and security and medical emergency schemes, to avoid
any entanglements in case of incidents with revelers. |
