Each year, the park receives a new structure to receive and accommodate the visitors better.

    The largest Festa do Pećo in Latin American has several services created comfort, safety and entertainment for the tourists. From the park, the visitors can reach all the other areas: The Palco da Esplanada, reserved the big shows, The Rancho do Pećozinho, where there is recreation for the children and an ample area for alimentation, with restaurants, barbecue houses, bars, pizzas houses and snack bars.

    The contest cooking is something that can not be forgotten in the Festival of Barretos. This contest is the Queima de Alho (Burning of Garlic), which has already become one of the most traditional of the event. The winner is the one who manages to prepare a magnificent meal a la tropeiro (muleteer style). To enrich the nights of the Festa do Pećo de Boiadeiro, shows with great Brazilian artist and even international ones are present with all the types of music like country, axe and rock.

    During the eleven days of the Festival, the visitor can enjoy various attractions. The principal ones are the catira, a typical dance of the Festival; the grease pole, a competition where the participants have to climb a pole covered with cow fat to grab a flag, and the ox ham contest and the guitar player Festival.

    The Festa do Pećo de Boiadeiro of Barretos is just one of options of entertainment among the many offered by the Brazilian country capital for those who want to enjoy not only August, but all the months of the year.
