Casa do Baile was originally a famous dance hall of Belo Horizonte. Today, it
houses a kind of memorial for architecture and design. Built by Oscar Niemeyer in 1940, the building respects the limits of the lake and the
garden, also following the ideas of the architect. The lake was built not only for the building could have more style, but also to do a small
dam, closing the sinuous valley and originating a big water mirror.
It passed through reforms and was reopened in 2002, but it kept its original
characteristics.
