Giant Sloth Skeleton |
Natural Science Museum of Belo Horizonte works in the dependencies of Universidade
Católica de Minas Gerais and comports a patrimony of animal fossils, replica of dinosaur skeletons, botanical articles and scientific
documentation.
Among the most interesting items is the skeleton of a giant sloth, besides various
kinds of reptiles, fishes and birds. It counts mainly with species of Minas Gerais. Visitors also have at their disposition a sector of
audiovisual resources, where it’s possible to find movies and photos, among others.
