Inspired in Paris entertainment areas, Municipal Park “Américo Renné Giannetti”
was inaugurated in 1897. The space was reserved to be a meeting point for the residents of the city, in the time Belo Horizonte was just
inaugurated and chosen capital of Minas Gerais
Besides 50 native tree species, the bandstand and the rose gardens are the great
attractions of the park, which also works as environmental education center. At Parque Municipal there’s an orchid green houses, Theater
“Francisco Nunes” and “Palácio das Artes”
