Ilha do Padre has 2.963 hectares and a simple infrastructure with restrooms,
showers, swimming pool, beach volley court and barbecue areas. It’s formed not only by the extense vegetation, but also by various natural pools
and waterfalls in the middle of Formoso River.
There are Ibama projects to stabilish a sustainable tourism at the region. In 2004,
an agreement between State government and Universidade Católica Dom Bosco was signed, so research projects can be developed. |
