It’s not easy to get to Aquidaban waterfall. To get to the famous 120 meters tall
waterfall it’s necessary to walk a lot over trails, starting at Baía das Garças Farm, which earned this name for housing several herons.
Visitors have to face a long way through twisting roads, but get as reward various
natural pools and small waterfalls along the way, following the margins of Aquidaban River, where tourists may refresh themselves before
continuing their path. At the end of the walk, the only thing left is to admire the beauty of the highest waterfall of the path and the landscape
of Nabileque’s Pantanal Plains.
The track is hard and not recommended to people without physical preparation. It
takes about four hours.
Back to the starting point, Baía das Garças Farm, it’s possible to have a delicious
lunch, where typical dishes are served, and rest at the hammock area, very common at the region.
