The trail has a nice infrastructure and begins with the place’s presentation, done
by the tour’s administrator. Visitors receive instructions about the course and about the available services, like restaurant, bar, pool table
and the boutique.
Right after that, visitors are taken, by car, to the trail starting point. It’s 4
km long and has many waterfalls along the way. There are guides who inform the visitors about the place during the entire path. Due to safety
reasons, it’s not possible to go into these waterfalls, but there is Poço do Lontra, which is the first stop for a nice swim and a little
rest.
In the sequence, after 1.6km walking, tourists arrive at Retiro, a kiosk where the
group may recover their energies and have a snack. The track continues up to the main waterfall, the Boca da Onça, which is 156 meters tall and
it’s possible to swim on its natural pool.
The way back is only to the kiosk. From there, visitors are taken by car to the
starting point, where a lunch with typical dishes is offered.
