Lagoa Misteriosa is closer to Bonito’s boundary and earned this name because nobody
has ever seen its bottom. Divers once went 220 m of depth but couldn’t confirm anything but the fact that the lagoon is much deeper than
everybody imagined.
Due to this fact, it’s necessary to be careful while diving. For example, during
summer, when the water become turbid, basic diving is suspended and only the technical diving, with more adequate equipment to assure the
explorer’s safety, is allowed.
The lake, which was discovered by Professional divers, is located inside a farm
called Passo do Curê, which also houses various river fountains and several specimen of queixada, a kind of boar.
Boat rides are allowed to those who opt for not “dive into” the lake mysteries. |
