Beaches
Curuípe Beach
(Praia de Curuípe)
Due to reefs near the beach, during
the low tide the formation of natural pool of clear water are formed. It is an
inlet with small waves and a narrow strip of thick white sand, where several
well built beach stands are installed. The inhabitants have the habit of walking
on the beach in the morning.
Itacimirim Beach
(Praia de Itacimirim)
In spite of being relatively short of
only 1km, it is very sinuous. The strip of beach is narrow, the sand is thick
and white with some good stands.
Mundaí Beach
(Praia de Mundaí)
This is a good place of diving. This
is because the water is calm and clear. The beach has a lot of coconut trees,
with thick clear sand full of shells.
Taperapuã Beach
(Praia Itaperapuã)
Wonderful place to fishing and for walking
at the end of the afternoon. Beaches of calm and clear water, with thick white sand
Rio dos Manguês Beach
(Praia do Rio dos Manguês)
The main attraction is the mango
river with clear water and mango trees, The ocean has small waves and dark sand.
Ponta Grande Beach
(Praia da Ponta Grande)
An inclined beach with coconut trees
and thick white sand. The waves are stronger than on the others beach but are not favorable for surfing.
Mutá Beach
(Praia do Mutá)
Close to the thick white sand are a
great number of coconut trees. The waves are weak.
Berramares Beach
(Praia de Barramares)
The beach is very very popular,
principally the Barramares stand where there is always a shows or on event.
Sport like beach soccer, beach volleyball, banana-jet, kayak and ultra-leve are
played as well. There are three restaurants of international standards and
several bars. It has an infra-structure of mini-malls, public phones, postal
service during the in seasons, Banco do Brasil and Caixa Econômica Federal
agencies. The sea, which receives the water from the Rio dos Mangues is an
excellent option for a swim. The presence of the outter reeds are another
attraction that can be reached for diving and undersea fishing. During the low
tide, the natural sea pools get mixed with the clear water of the Rio dos Mangues. |
