Another work of Oscar Niemeyer in Brasília, Church Nossa Senhora de Fátima was
constructed in 958 by order of Juscelino Kubitscheck’s wife, Sarah. The architecture presents traces and ornaments that symbolize “Espírito
Santo” and “Estrela da Natividade”, by means of glazed tiles painted with star and angels motives.
Today, "igrejinha", as it is popularly known, is registered as national
patrimony by IPHAN.
