Planalto Palace |
It’s the seat of the Executive in Brazil. Entirely covered with white marble, it’s
possible to note only four floors in the building, but the construction has attachments and underground floors.
In the second floor the ministry meetings are done, where the integrants occupy an
oval table. There’s also nominated halls, like “East” and “West”, where the ceremonies of delivery of credentials to foreigner diplomats take
place. On those places the laws are signed and the “take office” solemnity of ministers.
The President’s cabinet is in the third floor, next to the Civil and Institutional
Security cabinets. The floors are united by slopes.
