Also known as “Arcs Palace”, the construction is another one of the projects of
Oscar Niemeyer in Brasília. The landscape set is work of Burle Marx.
The project was realized in a square blueprint with many concrete columns, covered
with glass to house the seat of the government organ responsible for the international affairs. In front of it, there are water mirrors and
access slopes.
The construction houses a patrimony with several works of brazilian artists, among
paintings, tapestry, sculptures and decorative objects of several epochs. One of the exhibited works is authorship of Cândido Portinari. |
