“National Park of Brasília” is located 10km away from the capital and keeps a big
area of environmental preservation, where there are several species of animals and vegetation typical from “cerrado”, which is considered one of
the ecosystems endangered the most in Brazil. Still in the park, there are the main rivers that supply the region.
The space of 30 thousand hectares houses 700 vegetal species, among
jacarandás-do-mato, pequizeiros, buritis, guarirobas and purple and yellow ipês, besides animals like veados, sagüis, emas and tucanos. The park
also has two swimming pools and two trails available.
More than simply offer ecologic attractions, “National Park” also has a museum,
library, auditorium, snack bar, dressing room, medic station and easy access to hotels and restaurants.
