The unusual shape make, without any doubt, “Juscelino Kubitschek Bridge” to be
considered one of the most beautiful bridges of the world. The daring design is authorship of Alexandre Chan inspired in the movements of a stone
over water.
Built in 2002, it crosses Paranoá Lake, next to two other bridges. It’s fundamental
to ease the traffic in the region, which has a flux of 100 thousand vehicles. The cost of the work was around R$ 160 millions. |
