The change of the flag |
“Bandeira Square”, as the name says, it’s where the mast with the national flag is
placed. Founded in 1972, the pavilion entered in Guinness for being the biggest in the world, with 286m² and a mast 110 meters tall. The other 24
shafts represent the brazilian states, in the time of the construction of the public square.
Every first Sunday of each month the flag is changed, motive for military parades
and fanfare presentation. |
