 Brasília - Museum - Museum of the Deputies Chamber

    The museum was constructed with the objective of preserve and tell visitors the history of the politics in Brazil and the main facts that occurred there. The happenings are illustrated through manuscripts, furniture, films, videos and photos that illustrate important passages. Among the prominences is the archive of images and documents about the manifestations for “Diretas” (movement for direct elections), which put an end in the dictatorial era, and about “Impeachment” which took president Fernando Collor de Mello from the power.

    It’s possible to make a civic tour, where visitors knows the dependencies of the museum, the chamber itself and further buildings linked to the history of politic.
