Created by the Central Bank, "Museu of Values" has the objective of preserving the
history of the evolution of the national currency, contributing for the memory of Brazil. There, the Idea that money is an important instrument
to register the socio-economic development of the country is highly defended.
Coins, notes and other documents and objects related to the theme can be found in
the museum. The space promotes innumerous exhibitions, permanents as well as temporaries and itinerants, which divulge and stimulate the national
culture. The museum organizes special visits of students and studious of currencies.
