“Historic Museum of Senate” houses pieces that illustrate part of the political
history in Brazil. There are sculptures, furniture of neoclassical and Luís XVI style and tapestry. The major attractions are the paintings and
the old objects from the old seats of the government in Rio de Janeiro.
It’s situated next to “Museu da Câmara dos Deputados”, what allows tourists to
visit the two museums in the same day.
