Praças dos Ossos
Besides the beautiful beaches, Buzios has various squares an one of them is the Praça
dos Ossos. It is a family place where the people enjoy the nature. There are many typical native trees and the children have fun a swings and slides.
The place has decorative sculptures and a small area surrounded by bleachers, used for holding community events.
Praça de Manguinhos
The Praça de Manguinhas is located in front of the Municipal School Nicodemos, Theotonio
Vieira and the great attractions are the toys sculpture in wood that exist there. The square also has a spoilsport count. At night, the people can
also practice sports since the count is very well illuminated.
Praça Nossa Senhora Aparecida
The Praça Nossa Senhora Aparecida is one of the most well known because it is
located in front of the Igreja Nossa Senhora Aparecida. Located in the district of Cem Braços, the square is full of trees has a area for recreation and
benches for the frequenters.
Praça Santos Dumont
The Praça Santos Dumont, located in the Center of the city, has already become a tourist
point in Armação de Buzios. During the night, the famous and traditional Handicraft Fair is held.
There are tourist information kiosk in the square where suggestions for walks and recreation
are given.
Praça Humberto Modiano
Located in the district of Rosa, the Praça Humberto Modiano was inaugurated in 2000. It is
considered to be one of the largest beaches of Buzios. There is a poly sport count, children’s toys, kiosks for snacks and an ample area for recreation. In
the middle of the square is the Igreja de Santo Antônio.
The Projeto Cinema, held by the Fundação Cultural de Búzios, is held on Saturdays in the Square.
At night, films are shown for free.
Praça Saloni da Silva
It is located in the center of the city, next to the Municipal School Darcy Ribeiro. The Praça
Saloni da Silva has a poly sport count and, to increase the choices of leisure, has an area with various tables for games. |
