Buzios - Beach - Armação Beach

The Armação Beach is skirted by the Orla Bardot, skirted by historical buildings and colonial houses, without mentioning the restaurants and small bars. Considered to be one of the principal touristic points of Búzios, the beach has a dazzling view, with small fishing boats and visitor's sail boats that are already part of the landscape. It was in Armação that the city began to grow and up to today, the small houses of the fishermen maintain the same old architecture.

Besides the beauty, the tourists find various options of recreation, rides on schooners, catamarãs and aquatic taxi are some of them. In Armação you can also practice windsurf.

There are two sculpture on the edge of the beach: one of the French actress Brigitte Bardot and the other one in honor of the fishermen of the region.

Some parts of the Armação Beach are not fit for swimming because they have to many rocks. The inlet is located between the Canto and Ossos Beaches, begins at the Rua das Pedras near where the boats anchor and ends at the Sant'Anna Church.
