Igreja Nossa Senhora da Conceição.
This church was built in 1630 during the colonization and carries the name of the
patroness of the district.
Ruínas do Colégio (School Ruins)
Unfortunately a good part of one of the first Jesuit school of the history of
Brazil was destroyed with the passing of the centuries. There still remains some part to be visited.

Built in 1772, today is a small rustic museum
Museu do Indio (Museum of the Indian)
Today the population of the Pataxó Indians is estimated in 7.000 indians,
distributed in 20 villages along the extreme south of Bahia. The museum is a good opportunity to get know the real culture of the Pataxó Indian.
The museum is manage by the Indians themselves and there are usually dances and ceremonies in the place.
