Campo Grande - Parks - Indian Nations Park

Campo Grande - Indian Nations Park

Indian Nations’s Park

It has 4 km of paved roads, where visitors and local residents may practice their walking and running daily. With an enormous area dominated by vast native vegetation, we can easily find wild animals while touring around the park. Most of the local flora is composed by ornamental and native plants.

The space has 119 hectares, being considered the biggest urban park of the world, and contains an area for exercises along the paved way, which contrasts with the greenery and with the water mirrors. At the visitor disposal, there are sport courts, skate and skateboard arena and an event space. Residents of the region have easy access to the park, which is surrounded by a commerce center, hospital, fairs and several houses.

The park was a space that traders and farmers used to produce vegetables, fruits, granges and the raising of small animals. Times later, the government decided to make an entertainment area because of the vegetation and the nice scenery of the place.

Address: Altos da Avenida Afonso Pena.

Open Hours: Tuesdays to Sundays, from 6 am to 9 pm.
