Dom Bosco Museum |
Founded in 1948 by Priest Félix Zavattaro, with the intuit of keeping alive the
traditions of the indian culture of the bororo and other populations that the church kept contact with. The museum started its operations in the
dependencies Dom Bosco High School, in 1951.
As time passed, the museum added to its collection species of the local fauna and
indian artifacts. In 1978, it was transferred to the local where it is now.
Due to those reformulations, once the new adopted space is bigger than the
previous one, the patrimony increased considerably. Now, not only objects that pictures the several ethnic groups, but also animal and mineral
specimen are in exhibition, making Dom Bosco Museum a space which contains all the natural history.
The museum became one of the great attractions of Campo Grande, constantly
