| Chapada Diamantina - When to go |
Anytime of the year is good to visit the Chapada Diamantina. It usually rains
between december and march, but the winter is usually very cold because of it’s altitude. Even in hot days, at night the temperature gets
more pleasant.
Between june and august is the best time to see the Poço Encantado. A light
reflects through the rocks to the bottom of the lake and lights up the stones down there.
The ideal is to get a reservation with at least one week to be possible to make
the nicest walks, that usually takes about three days. |
