Waterfall Park |
Inaugurated in 1984, the 70000m2 park has a huge area of native
vegetation with several tree species, including species in the verge of extinction, like jacarandá, cedro, amescla and quaresmeira. Besides
trees, visitors can see many bird species, like bem-te-vis, pintassilgos and maritacas. But, if visitors wish to photograph animals that live
at the margins of the rivers and in the woods, it’s easy to find others, pacas and armadillos.
The greatest attraction is the waterfall, which should be avoided at Sundays, if
visitors want more commodity and comfort during the tour, since on this day the local uses to be crowded. To comport the high level of
visitation, the park has set a big entertainment area, with infrastructure that include sport courts, camping area, football field, kiosks with
barbecue, pools, playground, restaurant and snack bar. |
