There are two kinds of fluvial rides at Passo do Lontra. One of them takes about
three hours and the guests have the opportunity to navigate through the waters of Miranda River or else meet Vermelho River. It’s possible to
go fishing, but only in the fish and release scheme, common to the sportive fishing.
The other ride takes the whole day and makes possible a trip throughout various
rivers of the region. The Passengers participate on a search to rare animals on the Pantanal scenario. During the dry season, animals like the
brazilian jaguar may be easily spotted, giving the tourists the opportunity to take photos. It’s allowed to the tourists to carry lunch pails
or snacks to eat during the tour.
The ecological day starts with a breakfast on board of a photographic safari.
After the meal, guests walk on a trail inside São João Farm. Lunch is full of traditional recipes and typical fruits, farther the pantaneira’s
desserts. After lunch, guests may rest on nets for two hours, until the horse riding starts, a ride done in Pantanal horses that allow the
tourists to know a little of the regional fauna. The activity usually ends at the end of the day. |
