Situated next to the Municipal Aquarium, the museum tells the story of Cuiabá,
exposing photos and craftsmanship pieces. Reformed in 1999, in commemoration to its construction centenary, the space where, formerly, were the
municipal market, became a museum, named "Hid Alfredo Scaff".
The museum´s opening served as a rescue of the local and the outskirts of the River
Cuiabá memory and as research source for historians and interested people in the regional culture.
