Constructed in 1913, initially housed “Pedro Celestino” and “Cuiabano” high schools.
Built in neoclassical style, it was classified as historical patrimony.
Recently, it went under reforms. Doors, windows and flooring were restored. However,
the ceiling had to be changed due to the time decaying process and termites. The electrical cabling was also changed and restrooms, as well as
gardens, were reformed.
Inside the building´s dependencies, there is the Museum of Natural History and
Antropology, keeping an exhibit of minerals, vegetal specimens, vestiges of the pre-historical life and indian elements that tells the history of
the region.
