Mutuca River originates at the National Park and crosses MT-251 Statual Highway,
which connects Cuiabá to Chapada dos Guimarães. There’s a resort, 36 km away from Cuiabá, which attracts hundreds of tourists during
summer.
It has crystal clear waters and ideal places for diving along the whole course.
Even out of the water it’s possible to watch fishes and other aquatic animals. Mutuca River flows into Coxipó River and has this name due to a
kind of flies with the same name, encountered in huge quantity on the region. The use of repellents is advisable. |
