Historical Section

The Largo da Orden is the oldest architectonic Collection of the city. The largest part of the building were inspired on German construction and date back to the second half of the 19th century. However, some of the buildings are anterior to this date being the Casa Romário Martins of the 18th century and the Igreja da Ordem Terceiro de São Francisco in 1737, two of them.

On Sunday morning the region is taken over by the traditional handicraft fair that, besides the stands with different types of handicrafts, you can find live music and diversified cooking.

Address: Largo da Ordem - Praça Coronel Enéas / Praça Garibaldi - São Francisco.
