    To cross the mountains until the coast on the railway Curitiba-Paranaguá, which has completed more than a century of existence, is without ay doubt, one of the most trilling rides that can be taken on the railways of Paraná. The exuberance of the nature and the architecture monuments that can be admired during the course, transforming the trip into a ride route that cannot be missed by the tourist that visits the region.

    At the time to take the ride, it is important to choose which type of coach is more comfortable and attends the expectadions of the tourist, The Serra Verde Express puts at your disposal three types of coaches:

 

Litorina

    It is an independent coach and has its own motor. It has air-conditioning, room music, panoramic windows and offer service aboard with bilingual stewards. On the ride, the Litorina makes a quick stop at the Sanctuary of Cadeado (Santuário do Cadeado), where the tourists can go down to the belvedere to appreciate the beautiful view besides the other stop at the Marumbi station, meating point of the mountain climbers, before arriving at the final destination which is the Morretes station. The service aboard has a menu which includes water, softdrinks, beer and snacks.

 

Litorina

    The coach is not so luxurious but the windows are big and there is a bilingual staward with the tourist during the whole trip. The service aboard includes water, softdrinks, beer, snacks and the route is same as the Litorina, with stops only in the Marumbi and Morretes station.

OBS: Normally, the trains go until Paranaguá, but the station of the city is being reformed and is closed for public visits.
