Nossa Senhora da Conceição Church was finished in 1780, but kept few of the original
architecture due to innumerous reforms. The walls were built with bricks, dried under sunlight, and stones. The bells were donated by Emperor D.
Pedro II, who also sponsored the buying of a silver custody.
The sanctuary is registered as historic patrimony.
