is also searched by families with children, since there are almost no waves in the sea. The white and thin sand occupies an extension of 3km.
Despite the scanty infrastructure, it’s worthy a visit to the place, which is one of the calmest of Florianópolis.
At Daniela Beach it’s still possible to accompany the shrimp, crab and “berbigão”
fishing or even make a visit to São José da Ponta Grossa Fortress, building restored by experts of “Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina”
(Federal University of Santa Catarina). The beach, initially baptized of “Pontal do Jurerê”, earned its name after the birth of the granddaughter
of one of the local businessmen and owner of some lands by the sea, around 1970. |
