Santinho Beach is considered by surfers as the best of all beaches of Santa Catarina
for the practice of surfing. 40km away from Florianópolis’ downtown, one of the great attractions of the beach are the ancient inscriptions, done
by local inhabitants five thousand years ago. The marks were made in a wall on the beach, which received its name due to one of the marks carved
in the rock, which resembles a man. The local community says in the middle of the 40’s there were offering, wishes and prays in the name of the
saint carved in the rock. |
