Fortal |
One of the most traditional celebrations of Fortaleza is realized through more
than ten years at the local beaches, always during the last week of July. “Fortal” uses to gather people from several places of Brazil in four
days of much liveliness and fun on a huge out-of-time carnival.
Approximately 2 million people have fun in this “party”, going through the 4,2km
long path, with the sound of popular bands making shows on “trios elétricos”. Behind them come the blocks, revelers identified by “abadá”,
which must be bought previously.
“Abadá” is a kind of “uniform” to have authorization to stay inside the blocks,
delimitated by ropes. Those who don’t want to spend money with the “uniform”, just have to enter the "pipoca", group of revelers who
participate in the party outside the blocks. |
