Inaugurated in 1930, the building of Hotel Excelsior has 8 floors. At that time,
it was the biggest masonry building ever constructed in Brazil.
At that time, the hotel offered luxuries like warm water, electricity,
international cuisine, mail, telephone service and excellent rooms. It was considered the only luxury hotel of Ceará. Actually, the building is
the residence of some families.
