Inaugurated in 1914, Palacete Ceará is considered one of the biggest symbols of
the architectonic transformation of the city, initially working as recreative society of some local traders between the 20’s and 40’s.
Many years later, “Caixa Econômica Federal” bought the building and installed
itself there in 1955, passing through a reform in 1984, but keeping the original characteristics, especially those related to the facade. The
style is eclectic, but the neo-classic influences are quite notable.
