One of the main cultural centers of the city was initially located at
“Universidade Federal do Ceará”. It was idealized and constructed in 1961, but, a few years later, “Museu de Arte da UFC” earned its own seat,
passing through several reforms, also having an enlarged space to comport more art works.
On its patrimony, there can be found ceramic pieces, paintings of regional and
brazilian artists, “xilogravura” and much photo material about Fortaleza.
