Made in homage to the indian Iracema, character created by José de Alencar, the
statue constructed in 1965 at Mucuripe Beach attracts many tourists. Made in concrete covered with plaster, the work remits to the mix of
cultures and races occurred in Brazil during the beginning of its history.
