Monumento Castelo Branco, located at Palácio da Abolição, keeps the mortal
remains of former president Humberto Castelo Branco, dead during the military dictatorship, and his wife. The construction, built with
concrete, has a 30m swing and about 30 plaques with parts of famous speeches and letters of the former president.
