São Joaquim Theatre was inaugurated in 1857 and became famous for being the first
one of the “Centro-Oeste” (Mid-West) region. Although it decayed after the capital was moved to Goiânia, the construction has a history capable
of telling the whole art development in the city, like spectacles and regional festivals, besides incentivating new groups.
