At Goiânia’s downtown, there’s “Bosque dos Buritis”, the oldest landscaping space,
entitled patrimony of the city. Being 125000m2, it has three artificial lakes, gym area and track field. Tourists also find lakes, small
artificial waterfalls and a snack bar. However, the fauna of the park suffered changes and today the space has just 10 percent of the native
wood, since many trees were changed by exotic flowers.
Installed in the woods, “Museu de Arte” and “Centro Livre de Artes” can also be
visited. There’s also “Monumento à Paz”, which hold soils brought from many places of the world and a 50 meters high fountain.
