| Goiânia - Parks - Bosque Saint Hilare |
In homage to French botanist Auguste de Saint-Hilare, the park, which carries his
name, was founded in 1978, September. According to the history of the city, the botanic went through the region of Goiás, studying species and
contributing in researches.
In the park there’s a research and study center turned to botany and environment
preservation, used for events and lectures to the local community. Species like “Ipê-amarelo”, “Jatobá”, “Jacarandá” and “Cedro” are present
all over the park, as well as birds, apes and butterflies.
