It was created in 1982 by artist Angeles Ktenas, a monument in homage to journalist
Joaquim Câmara Filho, responsible for the creation of the newspaper "O Popular" in the middle of 1938. "O Popular" circulated
twice a week and was the first communication vehicle of Goiânia.
The statue, standing 65cm tall, is located in front of “Teatro Goiânia” and
symbolizes the memory of the journalism of the region.
