Inaugurated in 1970, October, “Museu de Arte de Goiânia” is located inside
“Bosque dos Buritis”, one of the tour spots of the city and place of great tranquility and beauty. The space, which is the first public museum
of art of the region, has as objective to incentive culture in the region, in production as well as in increasing the interest of people in
search of new entertainment alternatives, this time on cultural spaces and museums.
MAG has proper rooms for events and exhibitions, conservation, restoration, art
workshops, besides a library.
