With a patrimony worth 15 million dollars, “Museu de Ornitologia” has more than
120 species of stuffed animals of the most varied kinds. There are exemplars of “tamanduás” and other typical animals of “cerrado”, even
kangaroos, without mentioning the sector of rare birds.
One of the greatest attractions of the museum are the penguins and the butterflies
brought from USA, Canada, Australia, Cuba, Africa and brazilian species from Pantanal. Reptiles, fishes and mollusks are also part of the
collection.
