It’s, without any doubts, the most wanted ride and, after the flight, it’s possible
to understand why. Besides the emotion of flying on a helicopter, a glimpse on the dimensions of the waterfalls altogether with the park’s
greenness is an extraordinary sensation.
There are three types of helicopter rides. The flight only over the waterfalls is
the most traditional and lasts about 10 minutes. The second option is the flight over Iguaçu’s National Park and the waterfalls, which takes
about 20 minutes. However, the tourists that want to know the whole region may opt for the third ride type, in which the helicopter flies over
Itaipu hydroelectric power plant, the Mark of the Triple Frontiers and the waterfalls during 35 minutes.
Two companies offer the helicopter rides. Helisul Táxi Aéreo is located inside the
park, at the Visitors Center. Hércules is located at Foz do Iguaçu’s downtown. Tourists may also choose other routes offered by the
companies.
