At the arrival, visitors of the Buddhist Temple of Foz do Iguaçu feels an amazing
feeling of peace. More than 110 statues, 2 meters high and with stretched hands stands in front of the entrance gate to symbolize "welcome" and
transmit positive energy. The word “ORBI” carved in the door means "heaven’s place ".
A giant statue of Buddha, with about 7 meters high, occupies the garden around of
time. The frontal part is faced to the region of the frontier with Argentina and Paraguay, to attract good fluids. In the interior, where the
cults are done, there are another five Buddha statues that have different meanings: happiness, luck and health, among others. The sight from the
balcony includes “Ponte da Amizade”, Ciudad del Este’s and Foz do Iguaçu’s downtown.
